TutelaRx

Built with a working sedation practice.

TutelaRx is a digital DEA drug log and a referral pipeline for oral surgery and sedation practices. It started as one practice's tool. Now it is a product. Here is who makes it and how we work.

It started as one practice's tool.

Odyssey Oral Surgery & Sedations is a traveling sedation and oral surgery practice in Missouri. The team works inside several host offices. Every sedation, every drug called out and written down on paper. At the end of the day, two people spent thirty minutes each on the log: names, dates of birth, drug totals, a count sheet, a label printer, a calculator, and a physical count to confirm it all.

We built TutelaRx as their tool first and fixed what got in the way. We did the same for referrals. Eight referring offices were sending patients by text, Teams, and Google messages. Now they come through one pipeline.

Today TutelaRx is a product for dental practices that give IV sedation from their own controlled-substance stock. What has not changed is who you deal with. Customers get a direct line to the founders. When you have a question, you reach one of us, not a ticket queue.

Before

“You're already exhausted after surgery, and then you have to do more math, count, and print labels.”
Dr. Eric Egan, Odyssey Oral Surgery & Sedations

After

“I spend zero time at the end of the day, and I mean zero. After a surgery, I sit down right there by the drugs, enter the patient, and record it. The app fills in the patient information and calculates the total drug count. The end of the day is just confirming it matches.”
Dr. Eric Egan, Odyssey Oral Surgery & Sedations

The founders.

Two people, and a direct line to both. Direct founder support is part of every plan.

How we work.

Four things we hold to. They shape the product and this site.

Prices are on the site.
The Drug Log is $250 a month. The Referral CRM is $350. Both together are $500. Per practice, month to month. You do not need a sales call to see that. See pricing
Honesty over hype.
We publish the real numbers a real practice gave us and nothing else. One hour of staff time back each clinic day. Eight referring offices in one pipeline. If we do not have a number, we do not make one up. Read the Odyssey story
Compliance wording we can stand behind.
We say what the product does and what the rules require. We stop there. We do not promise audit outcomes, and we do not give legal advice.
It has to be faster than paper.
If entering a patient takes longer than writing it down, it is not worth switching. We build for the doctor or the surgical assistant sitting by the drug box right after a case.

Built to satisfy DEA 21 CFR 1304 recordkeeping and state board requirements: Missouri BNDD, Florida Board of Dentistry, and more. Compliance is a shared responsibility; TutelaRx provides the tools and safeguards to support your practice's recordkeeping obligations. Not legal advice.

“For someone with my personality, the biggest selling point is organization, with everything in one spot... I think we would have jumped on this eight months ago.”
